Tom has been a fixture in the finance industry since 1987, founding IMS Financial in 2004 to provide expert financial advice. Before his successful career in finance, Tom competed as a gymnast in two Olympics: Moscow and Montreal, proving that his talent extends from balancing budgets to balancing on the beam. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and taking annual trips to Spain to unwind.

Adam has been the pillar of the company since 2006, when he joined the business his father started. With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Adam is a trusted adviser to countless clients, ensuring all their financial needs are met with expertise and care. His vast knowledge and unwavering dedication make him an indispensable part of our team. Without Adam, the business simply couldn’t run as smoothly. When he’s not crunching numbers and helping clients secure their financial futures, you can find Adam perfecting his swing on the golf course. He also enjoys fishing and is always on the lookout for his next great adventure.

Darren is an integral part of the IMS family, being the son-in-law of director Tom. Having joined the company in 2015, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. With prior experience as a mortgage underwriter at Metro bank, Darren brings a deep understanding of the industry and to his position as a Senior Mortgage & Protection advisor. Outside of work, you will find him spending quality time with his loved ones, setting sail on exciting cruises and exploring the great outdoors with his furry friend, Daisy.

Sam began his career in the mortgage industry as a Mortgage Administrator, where he spent three years gaining valuable experience while successfully completing his apprenticeship and CeMAP exams. Now a Mortgage & Protection Advisor, he enjoys building strong relationships with clients and takes pride in making the mortgage process as simple and straightforward as possible. With a keen eye for detail and a natural knack for numbers, Sam is passionate about helping clients find the right mortgage solution to suit their needs, while also ensuring they have the right protection in place to safeguard themselves, their families, and their homes.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys Football, Golf, and Padel. He’s also a dedicated Chelsea FC supporter, and watches them up and down the country.

Carly, daughter of the Tom Wilson and a versatile professional, has navigated various roles within the company before excelling as Accounts Manager. With a wealth of knowledge and experience across the finance sector, Carly is renowned for her expertise in crunching numbers and ensuring financial integrity. Her adaptability and deep understanding of the business make her an invaluable asset. Outside of work, Carly enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Darren, their two children, and their beloved dog Daisy, constantly planning exciting new adventures to explore the world together.

Leanne’s journey with IMS began as a long standing client who appreciated the team’s dedication so much that she decided to join them. Five years on, Leanne has become an essential member of the team as a Mortgage and Protection Administrator.

With her first CeMAP qualification under her belt, Leanne brings a solid foundation of knowledge to her role. Her organisational skills and attention to detail ensure that every client’s mortgage process runs smoothly. Outside of work, Leanne loves to spend time with her family and is always looking to discover new talents and hobbies.

After several years in banking, Kieran joined the company in November 2025 to pursue a career in the mortgage and protection market. He has enjoyed the opportunity to learn from his peers, develop new skills, and become part of the team. He is currently studying for his CeMAP 1 qualification as he works towards becoming a qualified mortgage adviser and build his knowledge and experience within the industry.

Away from IMS, he is passionate about music and enjoys performing with his band and producing music in his spare time.
